What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We will give a straight forward quote prior to doing the job based on materials, labor and difficulty level. Always know what the cost is before the job starts.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we greet our customer and make sure open communication is established. We then need to explore our customer's needs at which time we will educate and answer any questions to make sure there is total transparency. Once we are in agreement it's time to execute the work.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

How did you get started doing this type of work?
Electrical work has been a family trade since the 60's. We are a 3rd generation electrical contractor

What types of customers have you worked with?
Day in and day out, whomever needs an electrician.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We recently did a dock job on a lake for our customer who wanted it ready before Memorial Day weekend. This customer gave us a lot of freedom to light his dock with festoon lighting in the trees on the walk out to the dock. It was over 300' to the dock and our customer was thrilled. You can see the pics in our profile. It's during the day when we took the pics but you get the idea. This took 3 days.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
License is #1. We have seen so many hazards over the years that make us cringe from handymen who were cheap. Just because it works, doesn't mean it's safe. This is your investment and electrical is very dangerous when not installed properly.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Licensed? Insured? Always ask for options. Never compromise the integrity of the job to save a buck. Always ask about parts and how much experience your Tech has. A good rule of thumb is at least 5 years of experience however I would require 10 years.
